Against my better judgement

I'm going to watch Breaking Dawn today.I mean, what can I say?I like watching people being ripped off by other Godly un-Human beings. But of course the casting crew had to screw that up.Behold the "my-time-of-the-month" expression of K Stew.

When the books came out,it went viral in our class-we ALL judged the book by it's cover. It seemed so..poetic,I was enamored by it.Boy,was I fast a reader back then.I read on with gusto, not stopping for a moment to ponder over the absurdity of glittery men and women.No,really.What's UP with that?Dracula just turned in his grave.(ponder this) and I believe Anne Rice has resigned to a weightless world of Non-Alliance.
But then again, against my better judgement,I always watch the movies with some kind of queer hope I can't explain. It certainly is my guilty pleasure along with an occasional Sunday morning sing-along to my favourite pop bands of the nineties (Every baaaady yeah, yeaaaah).
Bug teased me endlessly as I told him about my plan-but then again I could always dive head first into my tub of popcorn and bitch with my best friend if things get too dull.Though I doubt it will.Darn-that queer hope again!

How was your weekend? Also,I'm sorry I've been so swamped managing my double life that I got left behind in my blog reading.Promise to catch up soon!

  2. I loved the Twilight books... read all 4 over a year's time (which is reeeally good for me) and when the movies came out I was beyond excited. But... I have to say this... they totally suck compared to the books. I still have some sick urge to watch them though :-/ Let me know how it is!

"I look back in comparison to other fabulous writers and I'm like uh those books kinda sucked. But the fourth book I honestly felt like she was smoking crack. " -I completely I agree-while I was reading them I was thoroughly engaed and afterwards an unsettling WTF knocked me off. Thanks for visiting!

  4. I have to say I want see it. Although when I read the books it was my first time in the paranormal romance world and it got me hooked. I look back in comparison to other fabulous writers and I'm like uh those books kinda sucked. But the fourth book I honestly felt like she was smoking crack. I mean it was just obscene.
