"Saw a real bad blog about you.Have you seen this?"
Okay,who else has got this dm/tweet except me?I have had around 5 of these today and they came from users with whom I hardly ever interact(I know bad sweta).At first I was alarmed-scared that people had actually found out about my you know,sex tape(hush) and I clicked-which kind of led me to a page with a queer url that kept loading.I googled it(I know,so smart,riight?) and turns out it's a bug-a twitter phishing thing.So,if you've got it,no need to quarantine-just change your password and don't worry about your tape.It's safe.So's mine.
I got the same DM. The thing I noticed that stopped me logging in (apart from the obvious need to log in when I shouldn't need to) was that the site map links at the bottom of the page came back with "page not found". They're not that clever are they?
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten this but I'm so glad I read about this because I would TOTALLY click. I had an ex who wrote all about what a whore I was when we broke up. Klassy.

ReplyDeleteI've been getting this a lot too. They almost got me too cause there have been a few people who have written some pretty mean things about me on their blogs. haha ;-)
