So,this February I didn't have a Valentine
But I had ink.
And thats damn fine.

I was freaked.But, the pain was taken care off-seeing that it doesn't hurt much and is mostly its like a mild irritation/scratching on the fleshy parts and a bit of teeth gritting OW-ness on the bones. But then,your pain threshold might differ-yet it isn't unbearable-that much I can vouch for.
My tattoo is an amalgamation of The Eye of Ra with the Leo Symbol.
For me,The Eye of Ra which is the symbol of protection,royal power and good health (dear wiki )will be a constant reminder that the protection I seek in hours of dire need,and if none comes from an external source,I must not forget that the power to protect also lies within me,myself.This is meant as a mark of respect to my rights and abilities as a human being I believe in a relationship,any relationship,when you find that you are willing to change too much of yourself,thats a prudent time to question your importance and position in it.These are just my thoughts though,you may prefer to hold dissimilar opinions.The protection of my self respect is my positive way of feeling powerful in every situation.
Also,because I love all things Egypt :)

I love my new tattoo and I can't wait to get my next one.Incidentally,I took part in this lucky draw in the tattoo studio..and I won a 5 sq inch tattoo.I'm stoked!
I'll be finalizing the design tomorrow and getting inked(again) next week.Time of my life? kinda ! ;)
P.s:If you're in Calcutta,or planning to visit-get inked at Lizard's Skin Tattoos-the best tattoo studio in town.Hands down.

That's such a cool tattoo. I remember how scared I was for my first one. I have about 15% of my body inked, yet I am still scared. But I got my last one alone! No friends, no parents, just alone. I was even more scared. I love your tat, btw. I wanted the eye of horus at one time. And I have my astrological symbol too near my ankle! Is your tat on the inner side of ur right leg above your ankle? Very same place my first was! Haha what did you get next? :)
